I stayed too long. It was comfortable – one block from the ocean, lots of cool restaurants, easily accessible for clients, sunny and spacious with an open feeling. My focus was online – writing, connecting, studying and learning. My focus was also offline – attending various local networking groups and events. And I continued to build my professional knowledge – taking courses, attending conferences both near and far. Moving was the farthest thing from my mind and seemed to be an enormously difficult task – taking the time to do some research, traveling to look at different places, and then packing up to move.
I chose to stay in my comfort zone. Continue reading
