Body Therapy Research:  Is It Necessary?  What Kind?

As a member of the Research Panel, Dr. Erica presented research exploring the documented benefits and healing potential of various forms of touch and body therapy methods.

Sexual Reawakening: Healing Major and Minor Sexual Traumas Through Body Psychotherapy

Since the focus of the conference was trauma, Dr. Erica presented some compelling facts and stories of real clients suffering from minor traumas that resulted in major psychological and physical problems.  This led to compassionate sharing, with a partner and with the entire group, followed by some guided imagery exercises, partner exchanges and a true sense of grioup cohesiveness.
